Missions
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
The Great Commission, listed above, was not just a suggestion, but instead was a requirement given by Jesus to His followers to spread the Gospel, or the “good news”, to all nations, regardless of race, religion, gender or economic status. Ten Mile’s Missions Committee is actively involved in spreading the Word of God across the world. Some of our recent foreign and domestic mission trips include:
Africa
Honduras
New York
Michigan
Bolivia
Cancun
S.E.T (Serving Emmanual Team)
World Changers
Ronald McDonald House

Lottie Moon—The annual Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is named for the Southern Baptist missionary, Lottie Moon, who served in China. This offering is received through Southern Baptist churches each December. Traditionally these gifts are sent from the local church to the state convention. All money given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering comes to the International Mission Board. These funds are included in the board's overseas budget.
